Agentify everything

UIs are fading into irrelevance. Screens, forms, and click-paths were the old contract between user and service. That contract is being replaced by agents that plan, tool-call, see, hear, and act across modalities.

The AI harness is the touch point: tools, memory, permissions, evaluation, and multimodal I/O bound together so a user—or another agent—can get work done without navigating your product as a maze of pages. Building more UI chrome is increasingly a lagging investment.

Design the service for the harness first. If an agent cannot operate it cleanly, humans will not enjoy clicking it either—and competitors who treat the harness as the product will set the terms.
